I love these! There is something very unique about these. I guess it is the fact that they are totally unique.

These remind me of moccasins vegan Native Americans might have worn.

These are made out of Bark?! and the appliques are made out of kombucha mushrooms! They are made to order online for $195, and you can send a tracing of your foot in for a perfect fit.

I wonder how sturdy these are.

I could see some eccentric woman with a ton of personal style wearing these. Someone somewhat like Daphne Guinness.

A Day No Pigs Would Die

Hey guys,

And Happy Holidays wherever you are. I am going home for X-Mas on Friday.

Today on facebook, actually just a few minutes ago–I was so pumped to share this with you guys, I saw THIS:

made by one Natalie Marconi–genius! and shared by The Ghosts in the Machine’s FB page (which is fun to be a part of).

Honestly this puts me in the holiday spirit.

I think she should make a tumblr of these–for KFC, Burger King, Steak Houses, Outback Whatever place–I barely know any of these places since I never frequent them.

She could have funny captions like this about how the animals had all been freed, lol, it would be great.

For me this message is heartwarming. Because it could happen just like this. And one day, it will. I hope I live to see it.
