Top 5 Places for Men to Find Cool Vegan Shoes

Ok now here are some cool places for men to get vegan shoes. I feel there are only a few cool vegan shoe companies for men, so in a way it is good because everything is simpler for them. They just have to go to one of these stores, buy the basics and they are set. Luckily all these companies are super cool so they can’t really go wrong. I have to admit I don’t really know what cool shoes are for men. I grew up with 5 sisters and have just one tiny brother, only 8 years old. But I do know a cool company when I see it so I will just list the companies with my thoughts, then the men can make their own selections.

 

1. Brave Gentleman. 

This vegan shoe company has got you covered if you are a menswear blogging vegan hipster living in Brooklyn. I mean that with no disrespect. I think it is a great look and all the shoes are seriously perfect looking. You couldn’t go wrong with any of those shoes. They also have vegan suits for men made without wool. Very important. Also actually cool looking vegan belts. And even fake suede vegan gloves.

2. Good Guys Don’t Wear Leather

This is the second ultimate vegan shoe store for men, if you are going for a more Bob Dylan retro cowboy surfer 70s look. This store is amazing for vegan shoes for men and if I was a man I would totally work this look.

3. Hooves

This vegan shoe company specializes in casual classic relatively inexpensive desert boots. What other shoes do you need, men?

4. Vegan Doc Martens

For the punks out there, hopefully you knew doc martens has a vegan collection. Iconic shoes for men!

 

5. Keep Shoes

This is another vegan shoe company with a lot of cool sneaker options for men.

 

6. You can also get your standard converse and vans…

if you are ok with your chuck tailors possibly containing a glue with an animal byproduct. Check out the controversy on my post “Once and for all, are converse vegan.” And not all vans are vegan, but if you chat with customer service (which you can do 24/7 online) they will let you know which current styles are. (Quite a few are).

Hello Everyone,

Before I begin I was wondering whether you may or may not want to LIKE the blog on facebook, since I am posting some really cute animal videos (2) and holding a “get to know you” party where we can all post pictures of ourselves with animals to introduce one another…There is already 1 person attending the get to know you party…myself…and you can see a great pic of me as a small child with a goat.

With that said,

One company I really admire is Good Guys Don’t Wear Leather. I have written about them before here and here in my Top Ten Vegan Shoe Essentials.

Well they have come out with new shoes for Fall.

They are so great, I can’t even believe they are vegan. I trust them though– no conspiracy theories or anything.

In my opinion, these are definitely the coolest vegan shoes for men out there. With the exception of these workman’s boots I wrote about. And of course, they are cool for women too.

Desert Boots. I am attracted to boys who wear these…sigh.

Meet Helga Wretman !

Well, they’re great. Male readers, you can find cool shoes here and now my blog has served its purpose–to help people find vegetarian and vegan shoes which are actually cool.

One problem. They’re quite pricey, which stopped me from buying those cool pink and turquoise ones they had this spring–and now they are sold out. Dumb. My feelings are– this is the kind of vegan company we need more of. We need more of all kinds, but I love this one. These shoes are as beautiful as leather shoes…more so, with this awesome badge of being “a good guy” on the bottom of your shoes and the feeling that you are not wearing a tortured animal. I feel I need to support this company, and the price is justified.

Keep up the good work, good guys.

Also I love their tumblr. Their tumblr really makes you understand the look they are going for with these shoes. It’s old school, california surfer, lords of dogtown, rock and roll, fifties, sixties, french movies, L.A, the Wild West, Woody Allen–to name a few themes I spotted. I LOVE their inspirations. I can see it really expanding into an awesome brand. I’m a fan.
